A 5 minute walk will take you to St Helens Road, with its range of Indian, Chinese and Thai restaurants. Or why not head to Wind Street, which is just 3 minutes walk away. Wind Street has a large range of restaurants and bars. Friday and Saturday nights at Wind Street are best avoided if you just want a quiet meal though, as there are literally thousands of people packing the many bars.
